Technology Sales Executive
Location: New York
Reports to: CEO
Experience: 2-4 Years
The right fit:
The ideal candidate for this position should be an enthusiastic, self-starter, outgoing and globally-focused person, who is interested in technology, business development, and sales. The individual will have to pitch and present the company product to the potential clients and successfully close the account. You will be responsible for developing and executing the sales plan for the company product. The candidate has to have exceptional socializing skills to leverage and enhance the existing network for expansion in business development.
- Excel at closing deals from end to end and become an industry expert.
- Actively on-board new clients and manage your own accounts.
- Impress clients with your technical knowledge and sales expertise.
- Developing and implementing business/sales plans to meet/exceed assigned sales quota.
- Responsible for client presentations, demos, and engagement, while achieving growth targets as defined by the company.
Qualifications and competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/ Technology.
- At least 2-4 years of direct sales experience for technology products.
- Must have a technical understanding of information and computer technology.
- History of selling high dollar early product or segment life cycle selling.
- Must have very strong communication and presentation skills.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must display and exhibit strong teamwork skills/competency.
- Strong solutions selling experience with a history of new account development roles with a demonstrated track record of quota attainment and territory growth.
- Experience with presentation software.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- High energy with ability to excel in an entrepreneurial, fast changing environment.
