Your Role
As a Machine Learning Engineer specializing in computer vision, you will be at the forefront of transforming raw visual data into meaningful insights. You will leverage your expertise to design, develop, and optimize machine learning models that enable our products to understand and interpret images and videos.
This role is pivotal in shaping our computer vision strategy, and you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex business challenges into actionable solutions. From enhancing object detection accuracy to advancing image segmentation techniques, you will be instrumental in driving advancements that contribute to the core of our technology.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define computer vision projects and objectives.
- Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms for image and video analysis, object detection, image segmentation, and more.
- Pre-process and clean large-scale datasets to ensure high-quality training data for machine learning models.
- Optimize and fine-tune machine learning models for performance, accuracy, and scalability.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and computer vision and incorporate relevant technologies into our projects.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team and contribute to the overall product development strategy.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate machine learning solutions into products and services.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, making the value of machine learning initiatives clear.
What you Need
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, with a focus on computer vision.
- Strong proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing machine learning models for computer vision tasks such as image classification, object detection, image segmentation, etc.
- Solid programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Familiarity with image processing techniques, feature extraction, and data augmentation.
- Experience working with large datasets and handling data preprocessing challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize and fine-tune machine learning models for real-world applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to algorithm development.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
