Your role
As a SAP ABAP-Integration Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing SAP solutions, designing and executing integrations between SAP and external systems, and utilizing your strong technical integration and ABAP background. With your expertise, you will collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, design integration solutions, develop ABAP programs, and ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability. Your role will also involve providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the implementation and maintenance of SAP systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements for SAP solutions and integrations.
- Design and develop integration solutions between SAP and external systems using various integration tools and technologies.
- Utilize ABAP programming skills to customize and enhance SAP functionality as per client needs.
- Perform system analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues and ensure system stability.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the integrations and ABAP enhancements.
- Support data migration activities, including data mapping, conversion, and validation.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to the project team and clients.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business processes and translate them into technical requirements.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in SAP ABAP and integration technologies.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of SAP systems, including system upgrades and enhancements.
What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 12-14 years of experience as a SAP ABAP-Integration Consultant.
- Strong technical background in SAP integration technologies and ABAP programming.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing integrations between SAP and external systems.
- Proficiency in ABAP programming, including enhancements, customizations, and data conversions.
- Solid understanding of SAP modules and business processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- SAP ABAP certification is preferred.
