Your role
As a SAP EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) Consultant, you will leverage your extensive knowledge and expertise in SAP EAM and the Corporate Asset Management module to provide expert guidance and implement effective solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for configuring, designing, and debugging SAP EAM, with a focus on geo asset management. Additionally, you will work with the Asset Manager mobile solution and be required to travel to client sites for implementation and support.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their asset management requirements and translate them into SAP EAM solutions.
- Configure and customize SAP EAM and the Corporate Asset Management module to align with client business processes.
- Design and implement asset management processes, including asset maintenance, inspections, and work orders.
- Debug and troubleshoot SAP EAM configurations to ensure accurate functionality and data integrity.
- Provide expertise in geo asset management, including managing assets across multiple locations and integrating geographic information systems (GIS).
- Utilize the Asset Manager mobile solution to enable remote asset management and field service operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP EAM with other modules, such as SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) and SAP MM (Materials Management).
- Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of SAP EAM configurations and processes.
- Provide training and support to end-users, enabling them to effectively utilize the SAP EAM system.
- Travel to client sites for implementation, support, and troubleshooting as required.
What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 12-14 years of experience as a SAP EAM Consultant, with a strong focus on the Corporate Asset Management module.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in configuring, designing, and debugging SAP EAM.
- Proficiency in asset management processes, including maintenance, inspections, and work orders.
- Experience with geo asset management and integrating geographic information systems (GIS) with SAP EAM.
- Familiarity with the Asset Manager mobile solution for remote asset management and field service operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve configuration issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- Ability to travel to client sites for implementation and support.
- SAP EAM or related certifications are preferred.
