Your role
As a SAP Project System Consultant, you will play a key role in implementing and optimizing SAP PS (Project System) and EPPM (Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management) solutions for our clients. Your primary focus will be on integrating SAP PS with engineering systems such as Oracle Aconex, Prism, and P6. With your extensive experience, you will provide expert guidance in project management processes, drive efficiency, and ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their project management requirements and translate them into SAP PS and EPPM solutions.
- Configure and customize SAP PS and EPPM modules to align with client project management processes.
- Integrate SAP PS with engineering systems like Oracle Aconex, Prism, P6, and other relevant systems.
- Design and implement project structures, work breakdown structures (WBS), networks, and scheduling in SAP PS.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure proper functionality and system integration.
- Provide expertise in SAP PS-EPPM integration, ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization between systems.
- Support the implementation of EPPM functionalities, such as resource management, project costing, and portfolio management.
- Analyze and optimize project management processes to drive efficiency and improve project execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP PS with other SAP modules, such as SAP MM and SAP SD.
- Conduct training sessions and create user documentation to enable smooth user adoption and system utilization.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in SAP PS and EPPM.
What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management & Engineering, Business Administration, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 12-14 years of experience as a SAP Project System Consultant, with expertise in EPPM.
- Strong technical background and hands-on experience in configuring, designing, and implementing SAP PS and EPPM modules.
- Extensive knowledge of project management processes and methodologies.
- Experience in integrating SAP PS with engineering systems like Oracle Aconex, Prism, P6, or similar systems.
- Solid understanding of project structures, WBS, networks, and scheduling in SAP PS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve system issues and process inefficiencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- SAP PS or EPPM certifications are preferred.
